| Wow! I hope you were there for the "Skate & Destroy" street team challenge.... if you didn't make it, you missed some of the best skating seen at Hickam! Of course we got a late start, but it was all worth it and I'm sure all were pleased! Five teams competed against each other in 4 events, longest air, highest ollie, best handrail, and best team ride. It was very close, especially for the TOP SHOPS APB and Fitted... after looking at the detailed totals, it really could have gone many ways, but APB came through with the best consistency throughout the whole night to take 1st Place with 390 pts out of 400 possible. Team Fitted was right on their heels with 385 pts for 2nd, NSB-3 (North Shore Boyz minus 3) formed up at last minute (and collection of some $) to take 3rd with 350 pts, Team 5ive-O followed very close behind in 4th with 345pts, and Team BH finished up taking 5th with 330 pts. All in all, it was pretty good fun, it was a "first" for PASS to throw a street team challenge... I think with some slight modifications we'll get it dialed in just right for the next time...hehe I really wanted to see that tie for 1st... aww man... it would have been a 360 spin off! I guess would have pleased the old school'ness in my blood.... and fun to see... oh well. Thanks again to all the participating teams, shops, skaters and spectators........ congrats to APB.......enjoy the ride, I think there's a want for a rematch in the near future! |

| I had a few alibi's.... I didn't get to see everything that happened..... there was a lot of skating going on during the events that I heard tons of cheers for, but as far as what I saw, I think mentioning Jack Curtains ollie over 8 boards switch and Chris Kays 360 spin aerial deserves a big SHOUT!
